The Financial Counseling Toolkit

A financial education and counseling project that creates a county-wide system for the provision of financial counseling services by collecting and distributing tools, including shared intake, referral, and outcome forms that leverage our collective resources.  Our belief is that the most successful financial counseling is based on relationships and services along the income and asset building continuum.

Alameda County CAN is currently developing a train-the-trainer curriculum on our Financial Counseling Toolkit and Banking Menu to be unveiled in Fall '08!  If you are interested in receiving our training, please contact
