Missions and Goals
Brighter Beginnings reaches out to families in need, providing home-based support and center-based services to promote healthy births, child development and overall family health. Each year the organizations serves over 2,600 low-income families in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Brighter Beginnings believes that every family matters, and every child deserves the chance for a happy, healthy future.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites perform free tax preparation for low-income people and assistance in determining eligibility for tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit
